His main primary challenger is running a distant second. Most Democrats surveyed have yet to pick a favorite.

Republicans appear ready to hand Bill LaFortune their nomination for a second term as Tulsa’s mayor, and Democrats have yet to settle on a candidate, according to the most recent Oklahoma Poll.

Each party will have March 7 primaries for the city election. The general election is scheduled April 4.
