Mayor's Race: Poll Results: Poll puts Taylor, LaFortune ahead

Republican incumbent Bill LaFortune and Democrat Kathy Taylor held double-digit leads in their respective races entering the final week of the primary campaign for mayor, according to an Oklahoma Poll conducted Feb. 24-26.
The telephone poll, sponsored by the Tulsa World and KOTV-Channel 6, surveyed 502 likely voters in Tuesday's Democratic primary and 515 likely voters in the Republican primary. The poll has a 4.5 percent margin of error.
LaFortune led the three-way GOP race with 37.5 percent to 19 percent for City Councilor Chris Medlock and 14 percent for County Commissioner Randi Miller. A sizable 29 percent remained undecided.
