Poll: State Reviving: Voters believe economy is better

Confidence in the state's economy continues to grow, but the issue remains among those foremost in voters' minds, according to the most recent Oklahoma Poll.
In a survey of 1,060 likely voters, conducted July 8-11 by SoonerPoll.com for the Tulsa World and KOTV Channel 6, 36 percent said the economy is "very healthy" or "reasonably healthy" and another 36 percent said it is "generally OK."
Those figures are slightly higher than in January and much higher than in September 2003, when only 11 percent thought the economy was very or reasonably healthy and 30 percent said it was generally OK.
