Roads, education get top billing

A poll of Oklahomans finds less support for prisons, welfare and economic development.

Oklahomans have definite opinions about what government should do.

The latest Oklahoma Poll, sponsored by the Tulsa World and KOTV-Channel 6, found broad support for more money for education and transportation, and to a lesser extent prisons, welfare, economic development and state employees.

When pressed for details about how best to further their priorities, though, respondents were not as certain.
