Sooners say state is doing just fine

Poll respondents see room for improvement, but most rate the state high in important areas.

Oklahoma really is OK, at least as far as the people who live here are concerned.

Not great maybe, but OK.

And getting better.

"I've been here about 25 years, and in my opinion it's improved a hell of a lot," said Donald Michel, who stopped in Tulsa on his way to Texas during the early 1980s and never left.
