Tulsans lack itch to play lottery

Nearly two-thirds say they aren't interested, the Oklahoma Poll indicates

With the scheduled startup only a few months away, more than four out of every 10 Oklahomans say they are ready to begin scratching lottery tickets.

Forty-two percent participating in the latest Oklahoma Poll said they are ready to welcome the new gaming opportunity by periodically buying lottery tickets.

Fifty-five percent said they would spend their money elsewhere, and only 3 percent said they were undecided.
